Should you sell your home as is? Buyers assume the “as-is” house needs major repairs that you aren’t willing to fix. “As-is” usually results in fewer showings and lowball offers. So if you want more time on the market and a lower sales price, by all means market the house “as-is”!
This is a great example of a home that was staged to show well. Furniture was minimized to show off the room size and placed where there was a focal point. The decor fit the style for a log cabin on a lake. The home was depersonalized with neutral colors and pictures. It was cleaned top to bottom prior to listing, as well as the landscaping being spruced up. When it got listed, average days on market in this area and price range were around 160 days, and this one sold in about 45 days. If you want a personal staging consultation, we do those for free and with no obligations. Contact me by cell (call or text) at 803-528-3336 to schedule. Brandon Hoffman
